Camille
Victour, AIA is a registered architect in North Carolina with over 20
years of experience, and is certified by NCARB which would allow her
to practice in any state. She studied architecture at Midland College
in Midland TX and the University of Arizona in Tucson. She holds a Bachelor
of Architecture from the Boston Architectural Center. She has worked
in Scottsdale, AZ, Amman, Jordan, and Boston, MA and has worked in Asheville
since August 2000. She also holds a General Contractor's license in
NC.
She has been involved
in the practice of architecture since 1984 and been has seen it change
dramatically with the advancement of technology. Because of her values
of resourcefulness and a profound caring for our Mother Earth, she has
always had an interest in sustainable design, starting with her early
studies at the University of Arizona.

President of AIA Asheville.
- Serves on the
Board of Directors for Pets For Keeps Pet Adoption Center as Director
of Facilities Planning
- Was honored
to receive the Asheville YWCA TWIN Honoree Award (Tribute to Women
of Influence) in 2005.
Her personal interests
include playing the piano, crossword puzzles, gourmet cooking &
gardening, caring for her 4 cats and occasional foster/rescues, camping
& hiking, and renovating her 1929 house in West Asheville.
